Minister Dacic meets with UK Prime Minister’s Special Envoy
In the talks, it was mutually assessed that the bilateral relations between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Serbia were good, with special reference to their long tradition, noting that there was additional room for the promotion of cooperation.
Views were exchanged about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the situation in the region. The British official said that his country provided full support to the KFOR mission in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244. It was noted that international organizations had an important mediating role in crisis situations, among which the activities of the UN stand out due to the scope of its activity and global influence and importance. The upcoming OSCE ministerial meeting in Skopje on 30 November and 1 December was also discussed, emphasizing the importance of the role played by the Republic of Serbia in this organization.
