Minister Dacic in talks with the Turkish Foreign Minister on the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan on the fringes of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

Minister Dacic thanked his Turkish counterpart for the invitation to participate in this forum, which represented an important platform for the exchange of views on the most important regional and international issues.

At the meeting, Minister Dacic expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations reached between Serbia and Türkiye and pointed out that it was important to continue the practice of holding meetings of the Serbia-Türkiye High-Level Cooperation Council, the establishment of which had further deepened Serbian-Turkish cooperation.

The Head of Serbian Diplomacy took the opportunity to inform Minister Fidan about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.

Minister Dacic said that bilateral economic relations were the foundation for further strengthening the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and that the intensification of the activity of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation between Serbia and Türkiye could make an additional contribution.
