Minister Đurić confers with Ambassadors of the Quint and the EU
In an open and constructive discussion on key domestic and regional issues, Minister Đurić underscored the importance of preserving social stability and upholding Serbia’s legitimately elected democratic institutions.
He reaffirmed Serbia’s strong commitment to maintaining peace and stability both within its borders and across the region. The minister emphasized that only through open dialogue and institutional cooperation can unity be strengthened and decisions made in the best interest of all citizens.
Highlighting that Serbia’s stability is the foundation for its continued economic and social development, Minister Đurić stated that violence and the unlawful takeover of institutions are not in the interest of Serbia or its people.
"Anyone considering such scenarios should abandon them," Đurić stated.
He also drew attention to the latest attempts at institutional persecution of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija through secret indictments related to their participation in peaceful protests against Prime Minister Kurti’s administration.
Discussing key regional and international issues, the participants stressed the need to respect previously reached agreements and to avoid unilateral actions that could jeopardize regional peace.
It was agreed that dialogue remains the only viable path forward, with an expectation that all stakeholders demonstrate responsibility and a willingness to compromise.
Minister Đurić reaffirmed Serbia’s dedication to constructive diplomacy and regional cooperation, emphasizing that Serbia will continue to strengthen ties with its partners to build a safer and more prosperous future together.
The meeting was attended by representatives of France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia.
