Minister Selakovic sends Christmas greetings

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selakovic sent Christmas greetings to His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije, bishops, clergy, monks and all believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church, with a wish that the holidays fill our hearts and homes with peace, joy and warmth.

In his congratulatory message, Selakovic stated that the celebration of Christmas Eve and Christmas was an opportunity to remember the Christian values ​​of forgiveness, tolerance and understanding, but also to emphasize the importance of joint activity of the state and the Serbian Orthodox Church for the benefit of the Serbian nation.

"May the symbolism of Christmas holidays, when the joy of the birth of Christ is celebrated, inspire wisdom and strength in all of us to find the way of salvation in facing all temptations in today's challenging times! I am convinced that on this path your wise words will strengthen the national spirit of unity, solidarity and virtuousness, and that your good deeds will continue to provide spiritual and moral support to our people in preserving the Serbian national identity", Selakovic stated.
