Đurić Confers with Foreign Minister of Saint Lucia

Reflecting on their meeting at the General Assembly of the Organization of American States in Antigua and Barbuda last year, Đurić reiterated that Serbia attaches great importance to the Latin American and Caribbean region. He noted that, despite the geographical distance, Serbia actively engages in the work of regional organisations and seeks to develop broad-based cooperation and strengthen partnerships with countries across the region, which offer considerable development potential.

Đurić reiterated his invitation to Minister Baptiste to visit Serbia, noting that such a visit would provide further impetus to the positive momentum in bilateral relations.

The Serbian Foreign Minister thanked Saint Lucia for its support for the preservation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, emphasising that consistent respect for international law and a commitment to diplomatic solutions are shared principles guiding the foreign policies of both countries.
