VISA REGIME

For holders of diplomatic and official passports:

Visa is not required for a stay of up to 90 days for a period of six months*.

For holders of national passports and other travel documents:

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY
A visa-free regime is in force between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Malta. Holders of biometric passports in Serbia do not need a visa to stay for up to 90 days in a period of six months. The visa is obtained at the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Belgrade.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia may enter the Republic of Malta if they have a biometric travel document, which is valid for at least three months after the planned date for leaving the territory of Malta. As a rule, in addition to the travel document, additional documents such as a return ticket, hotel reservation or invitation letter and proof of possession of a sufficient amount of money for the planned stay (minimum about 200 euros per week) in the Republic of Malta are required.

SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT
No social security agreement has been concluded.

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION – There are no specific health risks in Malta. It is desirable to have an international travel health insurance.
Use of bottled water is recommended.

TRANSPORT – It is possible to drive in Malta with a new Serbian driver's license for a maximum of one year. After that, the national driver’s licence will have to be exchanged for a Maltese one. No international driver's license required.
In Malta and the island of Gozo, drive on the left side.

OTHER INFORMATION – The official currency is the euro. Payment is possible both in cash and by payment cards.
The power supply is 230 volts / - 10% and the sockets are rectangular with three holes, as in Great Britain. Adapters are available for purchase.
