Baghdad: Ambassador Balov with Chief of the General Staff of the Iraqi Armed Forces

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Baghdad Uroš Balov met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Iraqi Armed Forces General Abdel Emir Rashid Yarallah.

The interlocutors referred to the traditionally good cooperation between the armies of our friendly countries, stating it was necessary to intensify the cooperation in the coming period.

General Yarallah emphasized that there was great interest in cooperation with the Serbian defines industry and thanked for the invitation for Iraqi officers to attend the upcoming international exercise in the atomic, biological and chemical sphere, organized by the Serbian Army.

Moreover, General Yarallah expressed his willingness to visit Serbia with his closest collaborators as soon as possible and see in person the latest achievements and possibilities proposed by the Serbian defence industry.

At the end of the meeting, General Yarallah sent his warmest greetings to his colleague, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army General Milan Mojsilović.
