A Protocol on Cooperation between the MFA, the Judicial Academy and the Ministry of Justice was signed today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which envisages the formation of an electronic database of international agreements.

The protocol, which encourages cooperation in the field of international contract law, was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Selaković, the Minister of Justice, Maja Popović, and Nenad Vujić, the director of the Judicial Academy.

After the signing ceremony, Minister Selaković pointed out that with this Protocol, the MFA continues with the process of digitalization of its work.

He said that digitalization started with the introduction of the e-Consulate, which enables easier obtaining of type D work visas for foreign citizens, and also with the electronic scheduling of consular services.

The head of Serbian diplomacy mentioned that the digitalization of the database of all international agreements, to which our country is a signatory, will facilitate the work of judges and prosecutors, as well as employees of the MFA.

According to Minister Selaković, the MFA will continue with the digitalization process, as well as with the e-government process, in order to perform tasks efficiently and as good as possible, both in the MFA and in the diplomatic and consular missions of Serbia.

The Minister of Justice, Maja Popović, expressed satisfaction with the signing of the Protocol, saying that it is of great importance that all international agreements signed by Serbia, which are in force, will be sublimated in one place.

The Director of the Judicial Academy said that the signed Protocol improves e-justice and the entire e-government, emphasizing that this is a step forward that improves our entire system.
